What’s Up With Santa?

Dec 27

All through my infancy Santa  used to faithfully visit. On Christmas morning there was always a gift under the Christmas Tree for me. Since I grew up and Santa got older I think that he bequeathed a dose of senile dementia. No matter how many notes I leave him, it just doesn’t happen. I really hope next year he would remember to stop by.

Nevertheless,  from experience I learned that I had to prepare myself in case he didn’t show up. I still have a wishlist of equipment that I need for business. Eventhough business had not been great this year I just had to put some aside to get a few things on the wish list.

I’ve got this lens and placed it under the tree for myself. (It’s a real blessing having your hobby as your job.) So my bag now has an addition to it, a wide angle zoom. I can’t wait to try it out. After the season I’ve also sent my lenses and cameras to service so everything in my bag are back to factory specification, ready for next season.

Unwrap Jesus….

Dec 25

I was ushered into 2008 with the thinking, in order to have different results this year I have to do things different.

This year Christmas I admonish you to celebrate it different, let’s unwrap Jesus this year. We’ve been unwrapping gifts as early as we can remember on Christmas. This Christmas put the gifts aside and let’s first unwrap the gift of Christmas which is Jesus. Expose Jesus to yourself this year.

This gift is unappreciated by many but they still seek it in times of peril, some cherish it to a certain extent but display it, very few unwrap this gift and enjoy it to its full potential.

Carefully unwrap Him this Christmas and enjoy all that this gift brings. This gift brings with it, healing, love, companionship, success, shelter, deliverance, protection, guidance, security, provision, life and so much more that you might be seeking this Christmas.

This gift was sent to us close to 2000 years ago and for years we have this gift but we don’t unwrap it. You must unwrap this gift to enjoy it you can’t keep it in the wrapper and have it fulfill its purpose.

How are you going to unwrap this gift this Christmas?

When you get a gift you’re usually eager to open it and see what’s in it, which makes you vulnerable to the gift, you’re then totally open to the gift so as you open the gift it would be revealed (open) to you as well.

This Christmas make yourself vulnerable to the gift of Christmas, Jesus. Open up yourself to him. Tell him all your cares, frustrations, hurt, pain, goals, accomplishments. He says “He’s a friend that sticketh closer than a brother……….” Imagine that. He’s willing to be closer to you than your brother, your mother, father, husband, children even your pet. All you have to do is make yourself totally vulnerable to the gift of Chistmas and unwrap Him………….
Make this your best Christmas yet!

Merry Christmas,

Bryan Morris & Family.

Andrea & Mark

Dec 13

Andrea and Mark, I’ve definitely walked away from this match made in heaven with one thought “Things don’t happen by chance”

Andrea & Mark met in school at the tender age of 12, they both had a crush on each other, but guess what, being the kids that they were they never displayed their affection.

After high school they both went their separate ways, Mark moved out of town which caused that they haven’t seen each other for eight years before something magical happened……..

On Fat Tuesday 2006, Andrea stepped out of a restroom bumped into guess who? Yes, you’ve guessed right, Mark , whom each shared a mutual enfatution with each other since 7th grade. They’ve exchanged numbers and had a few conversations with each other before finally going out on a first date in August.

There were allot to catch up on, Mark had been engaged but that didn’t work out, Andrea was divorced with two kids.

Andrea’s comments on the first date were:

“We were accepting of each other’s pasts and both knew we wanted to see what would become of us….We pretty much spent everyday after that together and became best friends. My children, Kylie and Grayson quickly fell in love with Mark too. We dated for a year and a half and then Mark proposed in January 2008. We both decided long ago that a beach wedding would be perfect for us, so we found the perfect place in Aruba. It was there, that Mark, Andrea, Kylie & Grayson officially became a family.”

This was all coordinated by the notorious Nashette Wouters of the Bucuti Beach Resort Aruba.

Mark and Andrea, I’m sure you’ve both learned that this was a mtch made in heaven, it was always meant to be.

All the best in this life ahead of you!

MIA

Dec 12

OMG, I’ve spent time reading this morning and came across an article about the missing wedding vendor phenomenon.

What is the missing vendor phenomenon?

This is the phenomenon where you’ve booked your wedding date, pay your deposits and coming closer to your wedding day your vendor is gone with the wind. The business could not have withstand the pressures of the fallen economy and it folds.

I’ve haven’t been posting for quite some time now and I’m like OMG, people might be thinking that I’ve packep up and run. So I ‘ve decided that I had to make a post today to let you know that I’m still here, busy but still here. Besides I’ve been in contact behind the scenes with my 2009 brides and those 2008 brides that placed orders for the holidays.

Savvy business practices dictate that business owners should be aware of the ebb and flow of the economy especially this ebb as this was destined to happen. There was no need of a crystal ball for this one.

I’ll be posting my last wedding soon, maybe today or tomorrow latest so swing on by within a few hours.

Blessings,

Bryan Morris
