Bryan Morris – Aruba’s Premier Wedding Photographer

As mentioned in the previous POST, I’ve had the pleasure of documenting family Dion last year. This family and the extended part became friends and looked forward from early this year as well to another shoot. Family Dion a heartfelt thank you and continue with the great work you’re doing of returning every year and bringing new members to the island.

During this vacation Big Mike did as I’ve hoped in my post last year and popped the question. It was a very romantic plan that was disclosed to everyone (myself included)but Melissa. It was a total surprise to her and now they’re preparing for the wedding next year, unfortunately not in Aruba. You could never tell they might fly me into the US to document the wedding still. Hint, Hint…..LOL

You can probably remember the POST about the great time I’ve had last year with Family Dion. It was proven this summer that the enjoyment was mutual. Family Dion returned and with even more this time. I’m editing these images as we speak.

I’ve had the pleasure to could’ve finally document this family. Mrs Barker was the first client to contact me for 2009 it was actually on New Year’s day. We’ve kept in contact for some time until we’ve finalized and then coming down to the summer we were back in contact to recap.

Open arrival, I’ve met the most delightful family. I’ve introduced myself to Mr. Barker and then to the Mrs. and in return was introduced to the kids Nate and Anna. This family was up for anything so we’ve tried a little of everything. Follwing is a little of what I’ve documented of this wonderful family.

I’m blessed to be able to do what I do, therefore it does not feel like work. However work is not all, family has precedence.

I woke up this morning early with my family to go and climb the “Hooiberg”. This was a request that I’ve had for some time already and I’ve promised the kids that during the summer vacation I would take them. Here are a few of the images of our retreat.

The latest addition to the Morris’ family is a girl. She’s 6 weeks old and an American Pitbull Terrier or should I say Aruban Pitbull Terrier. Her name is Abishah, pronounced “a bee sha” A sweet dog that has adapted to the family very quick. A dog spoiled by all.

This was really a task trying to get these shots of her, she’s so attached as soon as I take to steps away she runs and stand next to me making it difficult to almost impossible to get the shot.

This is the one of the few times that she stayed in place for me for a very short period.

This is the forbidden teddy bear from Shayenne but……..   I think someones in love!

This is her being a good girl but I have to be real quick.

I would like to wish all mothers, expecting mothers, aspiring mothers or inspiring mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day. May you be spoilt beyond your imagination today and may the fruit of your womb raise up to call you blessed.

On today this mother’s day I will like to give tribute to 2 special people, one who’s no longer here, my mom and my wonderful wife.

I’ll start out by honouring my mom with this poem.

God’s Helpers

God could not be in every place
With loving hands to help erase
The teardrops from each baby’s face,
And so He thought of mother.

He could not send us here alone
And leave us to a fate unknown;
Without providing for His own,
The outstretched arms of mother.

God could not watch us night and day
And kneel beside our crib to pray,
Or kiss our little aches away;
And so He sent us mother.

And when our childhood days began,
He simply could not take command.
That’s why He placed our tiny hand
Securely into mother’s.

The days of youth slipped quickly by,

It seemed as it was just a few months ago that these kids were born. It shows that I’m really getting up there faster than I feel it. That fact remains though that I’m moving up there.

On October 29th was Naeem’s birthday. They all have a mind of their own and he wanted to celebrate with just a few family members and some friends bowling. They’ve had a great time, after bowling we took them to Pizza Hut for some Pizza and refreshments.
