This was such a dumb idea that the title of the post had to be written in a dumb way.
When it comes to a proposal, most people go for the WOW factor and really attempt to place the last nail in the coffin. So they try to use never heard before proposal ideas or at least adapt an idea to be unique as possible to make an impact at whatever cost.
My, my my…..There are good ways to propose, bad ways to propose, ways that I don’t necessarily favor, but ah well, I don’t have to like them all; there are ways that absolutely blow me away.
And then there are ways that are DUMB, DUMB, DUMB so dumb that you had to name it three times.
Lefko Hajji, bought a $12000 ring to propose to his girlfriend. He placed the ring inside a helium balloon, as he left the balloon shop, the wind got a hold of the balloon (with the $12.000 ring inside of course) and he just stood there looking how the distance between him and the balloon got bigger and bigger.
He did attempt to follow it by car but was not successful.
His girlfriend is now giving him the silent treatment until he gets her a new ring.
He still hopes it to be returned……I really hope for him.

Ring, ring…..
“Hello, this is Bryan Morris how may I help you?”
“Hi Mr. Morris…I have a guest here that will like some family portraits taken on the beach later today.
Are you available?”
This is the way I was connected with Family Rolo. Mr & Mrs Rolo have the cutest kids. Upon meeting them at the Aruba Westin Resort one of Starwood Hotels on Palm Beach, Aruba I could see they were very laid back. The day was a bit cloudy but I’ve asured Mrs Rolo that even though she preferred sunset that I would still work around the dark skies and create the best family portraits that I could amidst the circumstances.
Family Rolo consist of Mom (Ann) and Dad (Lou) and two beautiful daughters, Lucia and Antonia.
Lucia and Antonia are two little models. Don’t be surprised within a couple of years you see them on the runway. Mom informed me that Lucia used to model as a baby. She still has it in her as she strikes her pose.
It was an absolute pleasure for me to work with you.
Following is a few images of the shoot.

Saturday, March 22, 2008 was Granny’s birthday. That’s the way I call her. She celebrated her 90th birthday. Yesterday was the celebration. I’ve enjoyed myself sooo much. I just wish I would grow that old and and be able to be as alert as she is. I was happy to see all my aunts and uncles but one uncle and be able to take a few shots of them. I really liked that I could’ve contribute to my kids heirloom.

Happy Birthday, Granny!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire Irish community on this very festive day. This is a day that’s celebrated like no other.
St. Patrick is believed to have driven the snakes from Ireland. Once a pagan himself, St. Patrick is one of Christianity’s most widely known figures.
The modern secular holiday is based on the original Christian saint’s feast day also thought to be the date of the saint’s death. In 1737, Irish immigrants to the United States began observing the holiday publicly in Boston and held the first St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City in 1766.
Today, the tradition continues with people from all walks and heritages by wearing green, eating Irish food, and attending parades. St. Patrick’s Day is bursting with folklore; from the shamrock to the leprechaun and to pinching those that are not wearing green.

I never expected to feel
so happy
about a relationship.
I never believed I’d
experience -
a communication so natural,
a support so constant
or a trust so complete.
I never imagined
that by giving of myself,
I would be given so much more
in return.
I never thought I could say
“I love you” and mean it
so deeply,
as when I say it to you.

I’ve been tracking my stats on my blog and I see that I get quite a few visits daily, both unique as well as repeat hits. It would be nice to receive some “blog love” as well. By “blog love” I mean you can leave comments and even suggestions of what info you would like to see on the blog. That is the only way I’ll know if you’re enjoying it or if I should make some adjustments. This information is especially to you living off island and has the desire to or getting married here on the island. I fully understand that it can be a bit frustrating planning for your long awaited day so far. To avoid this stress, I would advise to visit the island and all your vendors before your big day if this would fit in your budget.
Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is coming up. I’ll dedicate these few days leading up to that special day to all those in love or those that would like to be.
